About Us

The Crete Escapes is a brand of Evergreen Tours & Rentals, a licensed Greek tourism company (License No. 1041E60610006300) based in Platanes, Rethymno, Crete (Machis Kritis 206, 74131).

Contact

Booking & Payment

• Deposit: A 40% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• Balance: The remaining balance must be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
• Last-Minute Bookings: Full payment is required for reservations made within 14 days of arrival.

Payment Methods: Credit card, bank transfer, or other approved options.

Cancellation Policy

Villas & Apartments

• More than 30 days before arrival: Full deposit refund (excluding bank fees).
• 29-14 days before arrival: 50% of deposit retained.
• Less than 14 days before arrival: 100% of deposit retained.
• No-show: 100% of reservation cost charged.

If we successfully rebook the property for the same period, a refund may be issued, less any costs incurred.

Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: From 15:00
• Check-out: By 11:00

Please inform us in advance of any late arrival. Failure to arrive without notice may result in cancellation of the reservation.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

• Respect the property and neighboring residents.
• Leave the accommodation in reasonable condition.
• Pay for any damage or loss caused during their stay.
• Use the property only for the number of guests confirmed in the reservation.
• Obtain adequate travel and health insurance.
• Pets are only allowed with prior approval.

Security Deposit

Some properties may require a refundable security deposit to cover damages or excessive cleaning costs. If applicable, details will be provided before arrival.

Complaints

If a problem occurs during your stay, please notify us immediately so we can resolve it promptly.

Complaints submitted after departure cannot usually be investigated effectively. Any unresolved complaint must be submitted in writing within 14 days after check-out.

Liability

Evergreen Tours & Rentals is not responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or losses caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, transportation disruptions, government actions, or utility failures.

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.

Swimming Pools

Pool use is entirely at guests' own risk. Children must always be supervised by an adult.

Property Changes or Cancellation by Us

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to change or cancel a reservation. In such cases, we will offer:

• A comparable alternative property, or
• A full refund of payments received.

Travel Documents

Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, driving licences, health insurance, and any other documents required for travel to Greece.

Governing Law

All bookings are governed by the laws of Greece. By making a reservation, guests confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
